Description
Demonstrate understanding of proper use of a DMM.
- Measure current
- Measure voltage
- Measure resistance
- Simulate current output
- Source current output
Demonstrate proper steps in troubleshooting a basic 4-20ma signal.
Demonstrate proper troubleshooting steps for an On/Off valve with solenoid and limit switches.
Connect to multiple device types with HART communicator.
Connect, program and test an RTD
Connect, program and test a TC Connect, program and test pressure transmitter
Demonstrate understanding of hydrostatic level measurement devices
Perform device configuration for vented and pressurized vessels.
Demonstrate understand of differential pressure when used in volume flow technology.
Perform configuration of differential pressure transmitter to flow element.
Perform test of pressure input.
Perform test of ma output to control system.

OL-1-102 - BASIC INSTRUMENTATION COURSE.
